The use of steel shot :

Cast steel pellets are widely used in the de-oxidation and de-rust treatment of steel workpieces before coating, in which centrifugal shot blasting equipment is often used. The ball shape and small hardness will make the steel ball will not produce large wear on the equipment. Steel pellets are also widely used in the casting industry. When the workpiece is removed from the mold, the sand on the surface of the workpiece is removed with a steel shot.
