To this end, the company has invested over 4 million yuan in the comprehensive upgrading and renovation of the original laboratory. This is not a mere replacement of equipment, but a systematic upgrade spanning hardware, workflows, environments and standards.

Having accumulated technologies for more than 20 years, the former laboratory has fully fulfilled its historical mission. The newly upgraded physical and chemical inspection center was fully put into operation in May 2026. This upgrade is an inevitable move aligned with the overall advancement of China's equipment manufacturing industry. Customers have raised increasingly stringent requirements for quality testing. In particular, as Kaitai expands its share in overseas markets, product quality must be precisely aligned with international standards. Such internal and external demands have driven the full renovation and renewal of the physical and chemical inspection center.

This demands that from raw material incoming inspection to finished product delivery, and from regular products to export orders, every batch of products must be safeguarded with more precise data, more efficient processes and stricter standards.

The renovated physical and chemical center adopts a standardized laboratory layout with clear zoning, sufficient lighting, and controllable temperature and humidity. It features clean countertops, distinct markings, and standardized gas and electrical circuits.

Accelerate Process Optimization

All links from sample receipt, task assignment, test execution, data review to report issuance have been reorganised. Conventional products will still follow the strict standard of "one test per batch", while export products are subject to a mandatory re-inspection before delivery.

It not only meets domestic standards but also supports the dual re-inspection requirements for exported products. More sophisticated testing equipment, proving quality with data

Kaitai Physical and Chemical Center has comprehensively upgraded high-precision testing equipment and boasts world-leading full-process testing facilities for metal abrasives. Evolving from an initial metal abrasive laboratory, it has added mechanical and metallographic test rooms and developed into a specialized, comprehensive platform under the group for material testing and technical research and development. The center is currently equipped with more than 30 sets of instruments including German SPECTRO spectrometers, American Irvine fatigue life testers, high-frequency infrared carbon-sulfur analyzers, universal testing machines, metallographic microscopes and various hardness testing devices, enabling full-chain testing capabilities covering raw materials, abrasive products and castings.

The center is staffed with 12 professional technicians, capable of conducting comprehensive tests on chemical compositions, metallographic structures, as well as mechanical properties including tensile, impact and cold bending performance of metal abrasives, steel materials and castings. It has maintained long-term industry-university-research cooperation with Shandong University, Shandong University of Technology and University of Jinan. Relying on accurate and reliable testing data, the center provides solid technical support and quality assurance for the company's product quality control, process optimization and technological innovation, ensuring that every batch of delivered abrasives and every supplied casting meets or even exceeds customer requirements.
